1. State Home Mortgage: DCA services many mortgages throughout the state. If you have questions on paying your mortgage, contact shmcustomer.inquiries@dca.ga.gov.
2. Georgia DREAM down payment assistance can help provide additional money for the down payment on your home. Contact housing@dca.ga.gov
3. If you are struggling to pay your mortgage, the DCA mortgage assistance program is ending and will not have any future funding. If you still have questions, please contact HAF@dca.ga.gov

North Georgia
Heating Assistance assists qualifying households with a one-time payment of up to $500 to their primary electricity and water vendor.

Beneficiaries of the Water Well Trust are low-income families or individuals that have wells that are no longer functioning properly, have contamination issues that render the well unusable, or have no well or safe water source. The Water Well Trust also has funding for septic systems.
The Weatherization program provides assistance to households to make their homes more energy efficient through conservation measures and minor home repairs.
The Home Fire Campaign helps save lives by installing free smoke alarms in homes that don't have them, and by educating people about home fire safety.

Coastal Plain offers the Minor Home Repair Program to help individuals who would not otherwise be able to make repairs to their homes.
Coastal Plain offers limited financial assistance to help individuals pay for water utility bills in an effort to avoid the disconnection of water to the individual's residence.

Home Improvement Grants and Loans are offered to low-income homeowners for building exterior and site improvements that benefit both the homeowner and the surrounding neighborhood. Payments on loans by elderly homeowners are made at 0% to 3% interest with no payments during the home ownership.
